A Note from Peg...

our woman owned small business

After some consideration and “pondering” as I like to call it, I decided to make all of the Paddle On! Maui Tours private excursions for you, your loved ones and/or your “Ohana” (Family). One of the reasons that I did this is because a large part of the joy I get from being an Ocean Guide is getting to meet and know people from all around the world on my tours. When I have 3 different groups of people with me, I never really get the chance to get to talk to any of them. This way, I will be able to get to know each and every person on my tour individually, and maybe not just create a new ocean lover/kayaker/paddleboarder, but perhaps a new friend along the way!

Private tour means that when you book your tour it will be just you and whoever is joining you and one of our guides on your private Maui tour. No other parties will be with you. Also, we keep our guide to guest ratio pretty tight, at 3-5 guests: 2 guides, 6-8 guests: 3-4 guides etc. When there are young children on tour, we bring more guides to ensure that someone is watching over the kids while the adults are playing too! That way you can relax knowing everyone is safe. ; ) We got your back, mom and dad!

What does private tour mean?

When you book a private tour with us, you become part of our Ohana (family). We genuinely want you to have an amazing time so we take the same care with you that we would a close friend or family member. You will receive personal instruction and coaching with your individual needs in mind and we’ll be there every “paddle” of the way. We hope that by taking a private paddleboard or kayak tour, will feel free to be yourself so you can relax and enjoy the ocean without feeling self-conscious with other people that you don’t know. So relax, let your hair down… you are “Family” now … Welcome to to the Paddle On! Maui Ohana… Where we do it Maui Style!

Why should I book a private tour instead of a “group” tour?

We generally do not wear life vests when we are stand up paddle boarding, because we are attached to our floatation device by a leash that is around our ankle. If you feel like you would like a life vest, please let us know and we will happily provide one for you. If you are on a kayak tour, you are required to wear a life vest. If you are on a snorkel/kayak tour, we take them off if you are comfortable when we get in to snorkel.

Do we wear life vests?

We will take Ages 3 & Up Welcome... We love kids!! They must wear a life vest and they will be sitting on the front of a guide’s board. ; ) The whole family can join in and have fun with Paddle On! Maui!

I have a young child... Can they come too?

Yes! If you want to try it, we are here to help. If it turns out for some reason you decide not to stand once you are out on the water, no worries; you can sit on the board. Most people don’t realize that they don’t HAVE to stand. However, if that is your goal, we will do our best to get you there!

I weigh ____ I am _____ tall... Can I still go?

Of course! We don’t discriminate against the awesome lone traveler! We’re actually just jealous… Many companies charge more if you are alone on a tour and we DO NOT believe you should be punished for traveling alone and being awesome. The tour price is the same and we cannot wait to meet you, celebrate your awesomeness, and hear about your travels!

I am traveling by myself... Can I still make a reservation?

We do not discount our tours as we are very hands-on and personal with our guests. Our guest to guide ratio is very high to ensure your safety as well as ensuring an epic ocean adventure every time. We do this so that EVERYONE on the tour gets personalized individual attention and coaching for your success in paddling. Our guest to guide ratio: 1-2 guests: 1 guide, 3-5 guests: 2 guides, 6-8 guests: 3-4 guides etc. When there are young children, we bring more guides to ensure that someone is watching over the kids while the adults are playing too! That way you can relax knowing everyone is safe. ; ) There is no upcharge for this service… That’s just how we roll! If you’re havin’ fun, we’re havin’ fun!

Do you have a discount for children, group rates, or any other discounts?

Well, lucky for you as we specialize in “nervous Nellies” and “scaredy cats!” That is what we do! We love taking someone who wasn’t sure about getting out there and turning them into a ocean loving paddler! We have many guests who come out with us several times during their visit so that they can get their groove on, and look like an expert when they go home to the mainland to paddle on their local lake or inlet. We can definitely help you get there!

I am really nervous...

A bikini/bathing suit and a smile, that’s it! We have everything else. We have fluffy towels waiting for you after the tour, and a guide who will greet you with a smile. Every time. Helpful hint: You might want to lotion up before you come to see us. Best to put lotion on dry skin in your hotel room before you come while in your “birthday suit” so the lotion doesn’t rub off. Let it dry and then put on your suit.

What do I need to bring?

Yes. However, remember that your paddle floats and your glasses don’t! Your hat might float at least until you can grab it. So, if you want to bring/wear your glasses, go grab a croaky before your tour. They have croakies with “floaters” on them that I have seen around town that work well.

Can I wear my sunglasses/hat?

Yes, but please let us know so that we can take care of you quickly if a situation arises on the ocean. Here is what I recommend: Go to the ABC/General Store or pharmacy and get a box of Bonine for motion sickness. It doesn’t make you tired like dramamine. Take one the night before your tour and one the morning of your tour before you come to meet us. This is an over the counter drug (and I am not a doctor), but it works for the people that I know who do it. You can also get a seasick arm band (also sold at the pharmacy). Ginger drops help too. But it’s best to head it off at the pass… Mo Betta for you!

I get sea sick sometimes... Can I still go?

Yes. I will ALWAYS tell you the truth, and the truth is: This is an ocean and this is where they live. On that note, I have been doing guided tours in this amazing stretch of Wailea’s oceanfront in the heart of Turtle Town for seventeen years now, sometimes on the water for 7 hours a day, and in that amount of time I have personally seen three sharks. I would not take you on a tour if I thought you were not safe. We would not GO on a tour if I didn’t think we were safe either! We will be with you every paddle of the way. You are safe.

Are there sharks?

We have a 48-hour cancellation policy. If you need to cancel or reschedule your tour, please call us at least 48 hours in advance or the fee is 100%. We are a small company so please let us know as quickly as possible so that we can offer the space to someone else who is waiting for a tour spot. If we have to cancel due to weather, we will reschedule your tour or give a full refund if an alternative tour date cannot be made.

What is your cancellation policy? (We hope this doesn’t happen!)

Make your reservation as soon as you can choose a date. We are a small, specialized company, so we fill up pretty quickly, especially during whale season and the holidays. We want to accommodate everyone that we can, so book early!

How far in advance should I make my reservation?

We offer three tour times: Sunrise (which varies throughout the year), 7:15 a.m. and 8:15am. We only do our tours in the early morning because the trade winds come in usually around noon in the Wailea-Makena area. Usually, the earlier the tour the better conditions… Usually. Our favorite Tour time is Sunrise as you can watch the sunrise over Haleakala Crater from the ocean and during whale season it is the easiest time to spot whales! Remember: The early bird gets the “glass”… glassy ocean conditions that is. AND the early bird gets the WHALE!

What is the best tour time?

“Paddleboard 101 Excel” is the best tour for beginners and was designed for just that. Although, all of our Tours INCLUDE a Beginner Lesson… so feel free to choose the Private Tour that you want and we will go at YOUR pace. This is the beauty of a Private Tour!

What is the best tour for a beginner?

Our tours go out of Makena Landing, Wailea.

Where are you located? Where do we meet for the tours?

This tour is customizable to meet your needs for any celebration. If you can think it up we can probably make it happen! What we do: Vow renewals Birthday parties Bridal parties Vision quests Bachelorette parties Bachelor parties Anniversaries Any reason to celebrate!

What is the Let’s Celebrate Tour?

Yes! Our lead guides are professional photographers and we love capturing the moment for you. Many a holiday card, thank you card, and wedding invitations have come from these wild paddle adventures! The photos are $50.00 for the set, one-time for the tour group. All Photos are taken in photo quality resolution for reproduction.

I see you take photos… What does that mean and how do we get them?

Yes… You may have heard, “Tipping is not a City in China,”but, yes, anywhere that you go here on Maui, whether it is a restaurant, a guided tour, or on a boat excursion, it is customary to tip. The customary tip is the same as when you are in a restaurant. If your crew is working hard and has provided you with an outstanding experience, feel free to show them some love. Most workers here “live on tips,” so if you had an awesome time, share the love.

Is it customary to tip? And what is a customary tip?

My Hometown? Parker, Colorado Why Maui? I moved to maui because of my love of the islands nature, the warmth and authenticity of its people, and the awesome, fun lifestyle it provides to me. The natural beauty, from the beaches to the mountains, inspires me everyday to take advantage of the beautiful earth we live on. The welcoming community and slower pace of life make it a place where I truly feel at home and who wouldn’t love to live on an island? Why the Activities Industry? When I was a little girl I used to write ocean facts and put them up all over my room in hopes I would one day become a dolphin trainer or a marine biologist. Being a tour guide was not where I thought id end up but I’m so thankful I did. This career choice allows me to combine my love for the ocean while inspiring and teaching others! What do I do on my days off? When I have days off you’ll most likely still catch me in the ocean whether thats diving, surfing or paddle boarding on my own time. It reminds me to slow down and move through life through life with calmness and grace. Hidden Talents and Interesting Tidbits: My hidden talents are doing headstands and I can catch a football from 50 yards! What do you love most about being an Ocean Guide? I love being an ocean guide because I not only get to call the ocean my “office” but I enjoy getting to meet people from all over the world & help them make memories… it fills my heart & soul. How did you end up living on Maui? I ended up on Maui because I got an opportunity not a lot of 19 year olds get, which was college or Hawaii! Sounds crazy, I know… and it was! 2.5 weeks before I was supposed to go to college. I got the option to scrap everything I had planned, uproot my life to move to an island I had only ever gone for vacation as a kid. Now I’ve lived on Maui for over 3 years and have found the place that gives me opportunities I never dreamed of… What do you love most about Maui? I love how everyday is an adventure and you don’t know where you’ll end up or who you will meet!

What do people say about Paddle On! Maui?

Wonderful time with the family and awesome staff! Our family, along with my sister's family, had an absolutely wonderful experience with Peg, Johnny, and Brittany during our paddleboarding adventure in Maui. From the moment we arrived, they were incredibly welcoming, patient, and enthusiastic, making everyone feel comfortable and confident on the water. They did an outstanding job teaching us how to paddleboard on the beautiful, warm waters of Maui. The entire experience was filled with laughter, fun, and unforgettable memories. As an added bonus, they brought snorkeling gear, and we had the opportunity to explore beneath the surface, where we were lucky enough to see several sea turtles and a variety of colorful tropical fish. One of the highlights was that their team took numerous photos throughout the experience, capturing so many special moments that we'll cherish for years to come.Peg, Johnny, and Brittany were not only exceptionally knowledgeable and informative but also outstanding instructors who genuinely cared about making sure everyone had a great time. Their positive attitudes and encouragement made the experience enjoyable for all ages and skill levels. We can't wait to do this again on a future trip to Maui and highly recommend them to anyone looking to learn a new skill while creating lasting memories in one of the most beautiful places in the world.

We had an amazing time paddle boarding and snorkeling with Peg! It was our first time doing both activities, and Peg did a great job helping us feel comfortable and she taught us well! By the end of it, we were comfortable and had a nice little photoshoot and short history lesson of the island. She was also very accommodating when plans needed to change slightly and even gave us our photos for free for any inconvenience! Overall we had a great experience and I would recommend this tour to anyone who is a beginner or just trying out a new activity!

We had the best experience with Peg! Morning was perfect with sunshine, being on the water, and seeing turtles! Peg was a great teacher for beginner paddle boarders and took great pictures. Couldn’t recommend anyone better for a great paddle board experience in Maui.

Peg was super helpful. We didn’t even have a tour booked with her or Paddle On. We rolled up at Makena Landing, gave her a call, and she just lent us a couple pairs of snorkels along with advice. Then she gave us the skinny on good equipment rentals and a great spot to the south for easygoing snorkeling. No money exchanged hands. She was just super kind and helpful because that’s how it is out here.

Just book it now. PaddleonMaui is responsible for probably one of the best days of our lives. They do other tours (that we will absolutely check out in the future) but we signed up for the private whale watch. They found us SO many whales that our tour time was extended free of charge just to be able to see them all. There were so many that I wished I had 360 degree vision. They sent us incredible photos afterwards that I plan on framing. Peg and her team are crazy knowledgeable and put safety above all - for both us and the wildlife. You won’t regret a day out with PaddleonMaui!

I recently had the most amazing SUP whale watching tour with Peg from Paddle On Maui. Our voyage out to see humpback whales up close will be one of the most memorable experiences of my life! Peg provided awesome one-to-one guidance, and I felt safe and supported throughout the entire tour. Peg provided some super helpful coaching tips for paddle boarding on the ocean. We spotted whales a little while after moving off the shore. As we began to move towards them, Peg encouraged patience to wait for a whale to come to the surface. Her wisdom of the whales came though when she could see that they were directly below our paddle boards. She immediately handed me a mask so I could look over the side of the paddle board. I could not believe my eyes, seeing a whale floating deep below me in the clear water. (This is the advantage of going out on a SUP). A little while later, one of the whales surfaced right in front of me and swam right beside my SUP and performed a blow. It was both a little scary, but truly magical, Peg kept me calm the whole time. We watched the whales surface and dive, and Peg provided incredible videos both above and below the water. I am so grateful to have had this up-close and personal connection with humpback whales and could never have done it without booking with Paddle on Maui. I appreciated Peg's knowledge and expertise on whales; her passion for these beautiful creatures was evident. I will definitely book with Paddle On Maui in the future!!!

Our whale watching paddle board experience with Peg was hands down one of the BEST whale watching experiences we've had, and we've been on many in many different places!! Peg helped us feel super comfortable on the paddle boards right from the beginning, and we ended up paddle boarding for over 4-1/2 miles during our 3-hour trip. We saw several mamas and their babies, saw a whale breach quite close to where we were, and heard a male whale singing (who also ended up going right under us as we were sitting on the boards). Such a magical day to be on the water. BEST DAY EVER! Do not hesitate to book with Peg at Paddle On! Maui!!

I love Peg and her team! This was my second time out with them and brought my fam this time and we all loved. One of the most magical things to do in Maui is spending a morning under their guidance on the ocean while watching for whales and turtles!!! Thank you Peg for a memorable and special day!!

We had an amazing time on the water with these professionals! They ensured the safety of our group, and were very kind and knowledgeable about the ocean and the surrounding areas! We felt very comfortable and cared for during the whole process; from booking the tour, to the land lesson and the ocean time. We will definitely use them again and recommend them to anyone wanting a friendly warm family experience on the water in Maui ❤️!

This was a life changing experience and taught me a lot about just letting go and relax! Peg was an amazing guide! She was so easy to get along with and talk with. She took me out on a 4 mile paddle boarding expedition in search of whales. We didn't see any (too early in the season), but the experience was beautiful and she is an amazing teacher for first time paddle boarders. Our path even made a whale! I'll likely be returning during the height of whale season! She knows what she's doing!

From start to finish, our excursion with Peg and Heidi was absolutely incredible. Peg called us the night before to confirm our reservation and walked us through every detail we needed to arrive on time and without any stress. When we showed up to the meeting point, she greeted us with the warmest smile and even gave us a quick paddleboarding lesson on dry land before we headed out. We’re a family of five with three young kids, and only a couple of us had ever tried paddleboarding. Peg and Heidi made us feel completely safe and confident from the moment we stepped into the water. Their patience, kindness, and friendly personalities made the whole experience even better. Once out on the ocean, they taught us so much—not just about paddleboarding, but also about Maui’s history, culture, and marine life. We even got to snorkel, saw several turtles, and were lucky enough to spot a seal! It was truly unforgettable. We would definitely do this excursion again, and we’ve already recommended Peg and Heidi to friends visiting the island at the same time. If you’re considering a paddleboarding adventure, look no further—these two are the best! Bonus: Peg took the best photos during our tour and sent them to me!!! I will forever cherish these memories and photos, Thanks Peg!!!

We had an amazing time with our guide, Peg. She was so very encouraging. Our family of adult kids had gone on this trip in 2018 and now brought their significant others. I’ve gotten far more nervous in those years and ultimately chose to stay seated. Peg really helped me with my nerves and while encouraging, she wasn’t pushy about standing. Everyone else stood up and had a great time. We ultimately paddled 1.25 miles in the beautiful water. Peg took beautiful photos the entire time which are beautiful keepsakes! We highly recommend this and hope to do it again!

This was such an incredible experience! It was my first time on a paddleboard, and I was honestly nervous even to try--but Peg was amazing. She coached me through every step and had me standing before I knew it! The setting was beautiful, and after paddle boarding we went snorkeling and saw so many fish--and even had a turtle swim right underneath us. To top it all off, Peg ended the tour with a surprise "Party on the Ocean," which was absolutely delightful! An unforgettable morning on the water in Maui and a wonderful confidence boost for someone who's usually a little scared of the ocean. Highly recommend!

Cannot recommend more highly!!! Peg was absolutely great to work with. As a first time paddleboarder and snorkeler I was in great hands! If it is your first time, and especially if you are hesitant, go ahead and contact Peg at PaddleOnMaui- she will have you enjoying the ocean in no time. I experienced turtles and fish while snorkeling and had great instruction on the board. Thanks Peg!

From the moment we connected with Peg at Paddle On! Maui, we knew we were in for a treat - and she didn't disappoint! From the ease of registration, the information Peg provided ahead of our scheduled tour, to the awesome instruction, coaching, and guiding she did, we had an absolutely incredible time! During our paddleboarding and snorkeling experience, she kept us safe, informed, and entertained. As she learned more about our skill levels (or lack thereof :) ), she adjusted how she helped each of us in our small group of three get the most out of the experience. After we finished up, she then provided great recommendations on things to do in/around the area, providing a terrific list of restaurants and attractions for consideration. If you are looking for a professional, friendly, informative experience on Maui, rest assured that Peg and Paddle On! Maui will get it done! Thanks Peg, you rock!

We had a great time with Paddle On! Maui!. We loved having Peg and John as our guides. It was a wavy day in Maui but Peg made it work for us and we all were able to get some paddle boarding in. John continuously entertained our girls on the paddle boards and Peg was a great teacher with all the mechanics. I'm so happy we were able to get it in for our trip because the waves only got stronger at the tail end days of our trip.

We had a fantastic time on our first kayak adventure because of Paddle On! Maui and especially Peg. She was absolutely amazing and took the best care of us. She went out of her way to get us in last week before our return home. We were unable to keep our original time and day due to an unforeseen issue. She made it happen for us. Peg is a lovely lady and also gave us recommendations of places to eat, things to do, and even where was best to stay. She made this trip amazing for us, and I can't say that enough. I absolutle recommend Paddle On! Maui and Peg for any ocean activity. She is an absolute professional!

Peg took our family of 4 out at 7:15am on a beautiful calm morning. Ahead if the tour, she went over everything and explained the mechanics of the proper paddle movements. The kids took to it right away. Me and my husband needed a little more help, but Peg was patient and gave each of us one on one time to get up on boards. She was very knowledgeable. Highly recommend!!

Our family did a private early morning SUP whale watch tour in January with Peg. It was beyond amazing. We got to see a breeding pair of humpbacks who surfaced so close to us while we floated peacefully in awe. Clear instructions, safety measures, and assistance getting in and out of the water made me totally comfortable. Highly recommend this company, experience of a lifetime!

I had a fantastic kayak tour with Peg. While I've enjoyed numerous boat whale watches, seeing the humpbacks from a kayak was another level entirely. We were fortunate to have encounters with both a mom and calf, and later with singing males. The sight of a whale in the water while clearly hearing its song at the surface is not something one will ever forget. I'm looking forward to returning for another trip with Paddle On! next time I'm here - and maybe trying out a paddle board next time.

Had a fabulous experience setting up the tour with Peg and going out on the water with Emily as my guide. Emily was knowledgeable about where to go and how to spot the whales. We saw several and we got to HEAR them while sitting still on our boards! That was a truly exceptional and special experience. Emily made the trip fun and customized the excursion for my SUP experience level. We had a lovely 3-hour tour with lots of memorable whale sightings. She also took photos to provide lasting memories! Will do this again in the future!

I honestly cannot say enough about Paddle On! My bestie and I were celebrating our 50th birthdays with a girls' trip so wanted to try something new! Peg, the owner, was a stellar teacher for the two of us, who are, admittedly, not the most graceful and coordinated gals! She started with a lesson on the beach and then we paddled into the crystal clear Pacific. We both stood up on the first try with Peg's instruction, patience, and encouragement!!! It's harder than it looks, and we ended up in the water more than once but got back up every single time. It didn't matter that we fell off, the water was PERFECT! Midway through, we rafted up and Peg had the most lovely and thoughtful birthday toast on the water. After, we snorkeled for a bit. We saw countless fish, several turtles and even a ray!!! She took amazing pictures throughout which was incredible considering we were first-timers and a bit unsteady. After paddling back to the beach, Peg told us about the area. She sent us a carefully cultivated list of places to eat, drink, and celebrate. We took her advice and we were not disappointed. She knows her stuff!!!! I honestly feel like I've made a friend on Maui and I cannot wait to come back and Paddle On! with Peg again!

Peg was the sweetest, gentlest guide you could possibly ask for. She taught us everything we needed to know about paddle boarding, and even though it was my first time, it was easy with her guidance. While we were on the water, we took a few breaks to admire the scenery and learn about the history and geography of the island. We finished with a snorkel adventure spotting a fair number of sea turtles hanging out in the reef below us! Peg went above and beyond to make sure that not only our paddle board experience was excellent, but also our entire vacation. She sent an extensive list with recommended local spots to eat, hike, and enjoy while we were in Maui. We are actively referencing the list every single day!

Wow! We booked a little last minute (the week of) and it absolutely worth it. Peg called the night before like she said she would and confirmed all details, and made a suggestion that we go a little earlier because the weather had been better then. And THEN she sent her own picks for local food and souvenirs! It was an absolutely perfect morning on the water. Chris, the guide, was fantastic and everyone was up and paddling about quickly. He had so much patience for the slightly anxious person too. Then came the snorkeling. My kids were in LOVE. Chris pointed out some amazing creatures, turtles, sea urchins, octopi, it was great! It's 2 weeks later and my kids STILL rave about their experience here. Mahalo nui loa!

I was definitely nervous but Peg walked me through the whole thing and made me feel so comfortable. I thought I would sit the whole time but she was able To help Me Overcome my fear and stand up on it! Amazing views, crystal water and some sea life made this experience even more fantastic. Definitely doing this again next time we are on Maui!

First Class. Five stars. Want more than just a paddle board lesson or kayak tour? Then check out Paddle On! Maui. Peg, Chris, and the rest of the POM crew are not only attentive, they are there for you, 100%. After a quick but thorough SUP lesson, Peg brought our boards to the water, got us going, and in no time we were standing and on our way. We had a beautiful paddle over the reefs, snorkel with some turtles and gorgeous views. The best morning we could have asked for. And Peg is a wealth of information about Maui. We not only recommend POM but are coming back!

Amazing experience with a great team of guides. We have a minimally verbal autistic special needs son and we weren't sure that we would be able to do the tour. Brittany and Peg were so patient and understanding and willing to work with us on whatever it took to get us out on the water. Things like this are so hard that we just can't do them. But they made it easy. We even had some unexpected weather kick up and they handled it like it was nothing. Big recommend for anyone and especially special needs families.

Amazing experience!! Our instructor Emily was very knowledgeable and passionate in what she does. She pointed out sea turtles for us and we were able to see one super close as it swam by us! The privacy of the tour was amazing as well since we didn’t feel rushed to keep up with a rest of tour or anything like that. We also opted in for the extra photo package and we’re so glad we did! The photos turned out amazing and it kept us from having to keep track of our own phones on us during the experience. Such an amazing overall experience, can’t recommend this enough!

Peg and her team (Chris, Emily, and Tristan) created such a fun and memorable experience for our family which included 3 little ones 3yo, 6yo, 8yo. Being a non-swimmer, and going out with young kids, I was quite nervous at the idea of ocean SUP, but the team made it so easy, and safe out and back. Chris and Emily were so great with the kids and it was one of their favorite memories in Maui. Would highly recommend for all ages and all swim levels (coming for a complete non swimmer). Mahalo for such a great time.

If you've been considering a private paddleboard trip in Maui, consider no more. Just do it! My husband and I went out with Peggy and had the most incredible experience. This was our 30th anniversary gift to one another. Well, Maui was our celebration trip but this experience was our big splurge and it was so worth it! Peggy was the best at guiding us out onto the water and encouraging us to take our flat fresh water SUP experience to the ocean. She also did a lovely job of surprising us with a little anniversary celebration on our boards and presented us with lei's to give to one another. And she got the moment on camera for us. We did a 3 hour whale watch tour and it was amazing to see these creatures up close from just a board. We were blessed to hear a singing whale as well! It was an incredible experience and Peggy, we can't thank you enough for the memory! When we make it back to Maui we will definitely be back to paddleboard with you! We absolutely felt like we were out for the morning with a friend! Aloha and Mahalo!

Peg was wonderful keeping us up to date with the weather conditions, making sure we would have the best time on the water that we could. Emily gave us a quick lesson and we were off. As soon as we got going a bit we came across two turtles mating! That was a first :-) Emily let us know some fun facts around mating season and we kept on our way. Being out on the water on our boards was such an amazing feeling surrounded by such beautiful scenery. To top it off we saw a couple whales breacing in the distance before we came in. I never thought I’d be able to get on a SUP, especially on the ocean, but Peg worked miracles out there! She really knows how to piece it together for newbies, and I went from super nervous to having a great time. We loved this area, too, there were so many beautiful fish on the reef, and she spotted the coolest turtle off the coast, too. We booked a morning paddle board and snorkel with Brittany and Marie. We can't say enough about their service and care for our group. We were 3 adults, 1 teen and 4th grader. They took exceptional care of our nervous 4th grader. She sat on Marie's board and had no issues at all. They were able to get her into the water and snorkel along-side the board. Brittany took extra time with our teen to get her comfortable and standing up on the board. Brittany also took AMAZING photos of our trip. We saw 2 turtles and she captured underwater pics of us with the beauty. We have awesome shots of everyone and group photos that will be on our Christmas cards this year. The first thing our teen said when we got back to shore was "Can we go again?" We plan to book with Paddle On again if we're ever back in Maui, and especially with Brittany and Marie. Thank you ladies for a memorable trip!

The private paddle was one of the best experiences I had in my life! First, they arranged a schedule for our flight, and there was no way to express how thankful we were. When we arrived, the guides, Peg and Brittany, gave a step-by-step lesson so my family could follow and stand up on the paddle boats by ourselves. It was a fantastic experience! Peg and Brittany put our children in the front seat of their craft to keep them safe and let them paddle so that they could experience their own as well. I was also impressed by their professional leadership and consideration at the same time. There was nothing more we could ask for. Thank you, Peg and Brittany!

The paddle board tour with Peg was the highlight of my trip! I'd been wanting to try SUP, and maybe SUP yoga, for a while; I'd seen the Paddle On! website early in my week on Maui, but wasn't quite sure what I wanted. When I got in touch with Peg she was really flexible, set the date I wanted, and asked what kinds of things I wanted to do. It turned out my snorkel boat morning had been cancelled for rain so Peg suggested adding some snorkeling to our tour as well as the paddling lesson and a meditation on the water. We did so much!! And so helpful on the mechanics - I started from never having tried it before and she talked me through basic standing and sitting and getting on and off, fixed my paddle technique and coached my balance. All of this with cheerful chat about how my trip had been so far and what else I could try around town before I left. So much personal touch, couldn't have been better! In short I totally recommend Paddle On! Maui, pretty much no matter what you want Peg and team can accommodate - the same morning as me, there was a family with kids on a kayak tour and Chris snorkeling to find sealife to show them. So give them a call and they can figure out your perfect tour

Our family of five had the most amazing kayak tour! Chris and Pam were awesome tour guides and the kids had a blast looking at all the cool sea life! We saw four sea turtles, red pencil urchins, and an octopus. All around one of our favorite excursions we did while on Maui!

Great experience as a beginner, I definitely had fun learning paddling boarding and saw some turtles! I was a little nervous at the beginning since I just had a boat-sickness a day before but it was great! I learned how to control the paddle and directions fairly quickly, then enjoyed paddling along the coast :)

Pam was a great instructor! She taught my husband and me the basics and we enjoyed our time paddleboarding soooo much! We saw sea turtles, urchin, coral. The water was heavenly. Everything about the experience was amazing!

We booked this tour on the recommendation from a friend who had also taken the same tour when visiting Maui. Peg did a great job communicating with us about the tour. She checked the weather and contacted us a few days in advance as there was a storm and the weather on the day we had booked the tour may have made it impossible to paddleboard on the date we booked. As we were on vacation we weren't checking the weather but Peg was on top of everything. We weren't able to reschedule but she continued to communicate with us until the morning of the tour. Once we got there Pam did a great job with safely getting my husband and I on the water and safely guiding us on the paddleboards. They really care that you have a good experience. She took a lot of great photos of us which we purchased for a nominal fee and she emailed them to us after the tour. They are a great memory of a fun outdoor adventure in Maui.

We used Paddle On service while at Maui and would 100% recommend their service. Peg was a very thoughtful guide. She gave us wonderful informations regarding the island and little science lessons on the sea animals. She made us feel welcomed and was so patience with us who are nervous first timer with a young child. Josh, her assistant, was so sweet while helping our 5 years old so we can be free to enjoy the experience. Peg help captured our families memories moments with her photography skills. I am thankful that I found her business to make this a memorial family trip.

Peg and Pam were amazing. Peg was so encouraging to our 11 year old daughter and taught her to paddle board with such patience. Pam was a wealth of knowledge and and wonderful with our son. We had a great time with Chris, who gave us a fun guided tour as we paddleboarded and snorkled at Polo Beach. He pointed out sea life to ensure we got to experience all, and shared some local history to provide context for the other islands we could see. Additionally, he was able to take some great photos of our group to relive the memories.

A perfect outing. Chris was a great instructor and very flexible with us. He went out of his way to make sure we were comfortable on the boards and with the snorkel equipment. He shared fun info about the wildlife and Hawaiian culture. The weather happened to be amazing and we saw sea turtles, sea urchins, an octopus, and many fish. The trip exceeded my expectations.

Highlight of our Maui vacay! Since we had 2 kids with us (5 and 7 years) they provided 2 guides for our private session. We felt fully safe and taken care of, while my wife and I could really enjoy the paddle board and snorkeling. Our guides Peg (the owner) and Chris really allowed us to relax and soak in the moments. When my 5 year old got cranky, they made sure he got happy again (luckily had some snacks on the paddlebaord for him!) We were able to get some “National Geographic”-like shots with an octopus, starfish, and urchin, which btw the photo package is a MUST. The photo package also allows you to just enjoy, and let them be the ones to focus on the pics (which they also were amazing at). Just super impressed and happy with our experience and would def recommend them to our friends! Thanks so much Peg and Chris!
